Re: outdoor kitchen

I put a lot thought in my outdoor kitchen located in screened in patio. One must have was a sink. I put in a bar sink and it's OK, but if to do over again, I would have put in a large sink. I have a green egg built into the counter top and a dorm size fridge underneath. Several cabinets underneath f...

Re: Dove Hunts Available!

A ducksouth group hunt is a great idea. I remember doing this years ago at Wingman's place in Isola. Set the date and count me in.

Re: cabling vendor

Joel, call JSI and ask for James (James Self, Inc).. tell him Todd Dearman told you to call him.
He's done tons of work for me from new construction to single runs.... top notch.

Re: Residential shop/metal building

there's a guy out of Pelahatchie, Town and Country Builders that does metal buildings. I purchased a 40x40 pole barn kit from him a couple years and ago and built it myself... don't save a ton of money doing this but I enjoyed the project. I plan on pouring a slab this summer and walling it in. Anyw...

Shot in the dark here but what the heck....

Me and my buddy have been subleasing a piece of ground in the south delta for the past couple of years. The lease holder was working on buying a piece of property and that has fell thru.... anyway, we are on the outside looking in now. So if anyone knows off a small piece of ground for the upcoming ...

Re: Big Green Egg location

It may have been my experience but I'll never step foot in Madison Patio again! I went there to purchase an egg and set of gas logs... a couple 1000 easily. Once I was able to finally get someone to help me, the dude was so damn rude, I couldn't believe it. I told hoss to find me another salesperson...

Oh yeah, I dig it. Looks great. Gonna do the same thing.

So did you wire it directly to your hot on the 7way and did you put it a switch?

Re: Building a cabin

Several years ago, I wanted to do the same thing on a small piece of property I own. Would have loved to build a little rustic cabin in the woods but didn't have the resources. I bought a metal building 12x28 and had it delivered from Jackson. It was just a shell... I wired it, insulation, walled it...

Re: Ask DS truck bed lights

On my 2011 F150, my 7way did not come from the factory ready to use. In the glove box was a relay that had to be inserted in the fuse panel under the hood. Why Ford does this I have no idea but it seems to be constant. I can't remember the relay port number but if you Google it you'll find a ton of ...

Re: Best place to buy "plumbing fixtures"

We used Ferguson and had no issues, very easy to work with. They have a showroom on 220 but their main warehouse and counter sales are on 49 behind the Peterbuilt dealership.

I can dig thru my invoices and get you the name of the guy I worked with should you want.

Re: Ask DS truck bed lights

I plan on doing this soon. Check out this thread on Texas Bowhunter, you'll see how the majority of folks are doing it. http://discussions.texasbowhunter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=337917 I like adding the rocker switch under the bedrail, some folks are using a contact switch when tailgate is open,...

Re: New Job

Here's one thing to note.... If you are ever on a video conference (using laptop with camera), make sure you are not laying on the bed in your underwear.... thinking you turned off the camera.
And your wife or girlfriend doesn't jump on the bed next to you... naked.

I too am waiting for the answer to Wildfowler's question. I have often wondered what happened to Torch.. he just fell off the earth for a couple years (posting up on this site). This thread reminds me of the motivational poster in my office... Character - who you are when no one else is looking........
