Goosebruce is right on -- more focus on cranes will beget more support of cranes.

We've proposed to start the hunt at sunrise to help with low-light ID issues, but it's more the threat of penalty than anything that will help in my mind.

I was being a little sarcastic with the 3 vs 8 ft wingspan -- sorry, it was late and I had been stuck in gridlock for five hours due to the snow.

I don't post much, but I have been involved in the proposed sandhill season in Tennessee. Disappointed to hear that a game warden is on the other side... as the Waterfowler said, different color, different call, whooper is twice as large.

We can tell the difference between duck species on the wing ...

Groundhog. I don't post often, but I have some experience with those little bastards. They will strip a garden clean. I have live trapped 15 in the last two seasons.

Went to Academy Sports today to get some 7.62x39 and they were sold out... said people had been buying rounds by the thousands, last guy today bought 10,000 rounds. Bushmasters were selling well too.
