I would try Keith Powell. Seen him catch them when others struggle, and is good with kids. I'll try to attach a link. Have a pic on his welcome page from when my boy was 7 y/o and caught a 10 lb trout. That was a good day

good times
My trigger man got off to a quick start this year with a good bird on the opener, which coulda/shoulda been a double. I saw them commit to the death march from an opening, into the woods with us. I told Blake to shoot the first good chance he had, and I'd worry about the other. Well, he rolled his, ...

Thanks fellas.
You right Justin. Growing up too fast! 12 doesn't seem possible, and don't want to think past that..
If you and/or your crew ever gets close to C-town, better let me know.

Re: Persistence Cont.
Thanks y'all. Saw this old picture in my photobucket account of his first turkey at 7 (miracle) :) . Made me laugh. He is growing into them. Made it about 10 steps with that first one, and about 200 yds Saturday. http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c225/duckch/04022010_005.jpg http://i28.photobucket.c...

Persistence Cont.
I've had a good season, but this one takes the cake. Talk about a load off... My boy missed one opening week. Wasn't an easy shot, but stung anyway. He killed this one Saturday at 1-something. Told him when we walked out of the bottom, it had been 8 hours since we were standing there waiting on dayl...

Re: Breed or buy a new lab questions
You are asking the right questions. Worth the hassle? Not for me, but your situation may be different. If someone in your family is primarily at home and looking for something to do, having pups may be a good fit.
