Re: Vehicles Up North

How far "up north"? How many times does the area see snow/salt applied? It varies, I see trucks every day 10+ years old with no visible rust. All depends on how often the vehicle gets washed in the winter.

RNT in Stuttgart

Just curious. Do those RNT boys blow the MVP or do they turn their own customs when they call in contests?

Besides why in the world would you want a hundrend plus thousand acres of grass and food underwater in an area you couldn't hunt anyway? All this land is private and unless you happen to be in one of the clubs on it or one of the landowners you couldn't hunt there anyway.

To attract ducks into ...

A better question is why are there lake managers anyway? One manager for one little lake, are you kidding? They don't do anything that a regional manager can't do. We have probably close to 75 lakes in our 3 county area and there is a manager and assistant manager and 3 other specialists besides ...

The current problem with ethanol as a complete substitute for gasoline is that it takes quite a bit of energy to produce --- I believe I saw an estimate lately that put it this way -- it takes approx 1 unit of energy to create 1.4 units of energy in the form of ethanol. Once a way has been found to ...

No scientific study can ever be done to prove that CO2 (and other proposed causes) is causing the changes in animal distribution patterns because it is NOT. Temperatures are changing distributions. Come on, it's science . At best, inferences can be made (inductive reaoning). What is causing those ...

Agreed, BUT ethanol based fuels derived from corn (a.k.a. E 85) are NOT the solution we need.

about eight years ago, it was BLATENTLY marked with yellow paint at the boundaries, I hunted there a bunch when I was in school in Memphis.

It's been marked more recently than that, and it's obvious to see the paint, but it juts in and out so much that alot of hunters just hunt all over our place ...
