Haven't posted on here in years but thought I would let you guys know the ECC has been spotted this morning headed Eastbound on 82 about 3 miles due West from Delta State. Be on the lookout around Malmaison is all I'm gonna say......

Re: Finally some hope
They are no different.
What is different is the explosion of hunters in the Dakotas and all the refuges they have built in the upper mid-west coupled with mild winters. They've been shot at already this year and learned to refuge hop. They learn to avoid an RNT single reed and a decoy spread ...

Re: Sea Foam
I am no advocate of "snake oils" that will allegedly make something that is broke fixed. But I use Seafoam. Seafoam works. It will not cure something that is broken, like a weak valve spring or a blown head gasket....... but it will keep your fuel system from gumming up. As was stated....It was the ...

Re: Outboard motor vs Mud motor
We ran ice last week and I was glad that I had a mud motor. Pro drive. Ice didn't slow me down.
The rest of the season, I've been thinking about how much I really don't need a mud motor.
A properly setup outboard will run just about anywhere a mud motor will run outside of a Louisiana swamp. All ...

Re: 35 H&R wheelen accuracy and recoil
I always have had better luck with a 1 piece base on the scope on my TC Guns. Doesn't matter how tight the 2 piece base was.
It may be the scope. Wouldn't be the first one to jump around. Don't care who made it.
May be flinching.
Make sure you let it cool down some.
Get a shooting jacket to help ...

Re: Pistol for truck/ carry
I don't think there has even been a finer gun made than the Colt 1911 and variants. I'm a .45 ACP Diehard.
.380 is weak, but it will save your life. If I had a dedicated truck gun, I'd probably go with something in 40 S&W or a 1911.
I'll say this and I'll shut up.......I've got one of those Kel ...

Re: Pistol for truck/ carry
Ruger LCP .380
or .380 Kel-Tec
For the truck.....If someone steals it out of your truck you won't have your feelings hurt as bad.
For a carry gun..... same. If it is big and heavy you won't carry it. You will say you will, but 8 times out of 10 you'll leave it in the truck. You need something ...

Re: color patterns
99% of the time if you've got it pulled up against the bank or in some trees grey is going to be your best color.
I started with grey, then brown splotches, then the black lines. It looks like a grey bottomland.
Hides great. Anywhere from botton willows to anywhere along the bank. Even up against ...

Re: New Browning Auto
I've got or had one of nearly everything.
As far reliability goes. Keep in mind....I keep my guns clean. Clean after every use. My Gold Hunter has been what I would consider reliable.
I have had more trouble out of my SBE. Had to replace a Recoil Spring but works better now.

You shoulda seen'em back in the late 80's.
I wish I'd have seen'em in a bar or something in the late 70's but I was still totin a BB gun back then.
If they rocked 1/2 as hard as they did back then, it was a good show.

Re: ?? about cracked tile floors
Weather caused it to crack if the house wasn't heated. We've had some big swings lately.
If you can match the tile you can just pull the cracked ones and put a new one down. No need to re-do the whole floor unless you just really want to.
