I bought a pair for my elk hunt last year, and ended up getting the Vortex Talon 10x42. Enough power for out west, and still usable in MS woods.

I will add that the news media that our kids are inundated with, help spread the racial divide. When all they see is "bad" on tv, they tend to believe it is "bad" everywhere.
