My roommates were having a going away party for me that night when we get a knock on the door at about 11:00. It was a cop asking who owned ...

Go see Son Jordan in Greenwood, $80 for one of his handmade calls. He's a true legend of Mississippi duck call making.

This came up in my office last week. What if the bird falls or swims across a property line from public land to private land. Is it legal to cross the property line to retrieve the bird or is it considered trespassing? My coworker said he was told that without permission from the landowner its ...

Re: A rant for this Friday morning
What really is aggravating is that 3 guys in my office, none of which had ever hunted unnamed location, put in last year. 2 guys got 1 weekend each, the other guy got both weekends, I got bupkis. So the 3 that had neither boats or any knowledge of the place got drawn. Of course I thought, good for ...

Re: A rant for this Friday morning
My dad and I have been hunting unnamed location for 30 years and got drawn for every weekend we put in for the first year of the draw. Have not been drawn since until this year. Between me, my dad, his 2 buddies, and my 2 cousins, we had every weekend covered, some twice, 12 opportunities. My dad ...

Ive had mine 4 years and I cannot tell you how many bags of charcoal I have run through that thing. I probably cook on it 5 nights a week. One thing to remember is you can use one load of charcoal more than once. I loaded mine almost to the top of the insulator ring Saturday to smoke some ribs ...

Re: Toyota 4runner
I bought a '90 model in '93. SR5, automatic with a v6. I drove it for 6 years or so, had around 200K miles on it when I traded to my Dad for a vehicle he had. He drove it for 4 years as his primary vehicle then sold it to my brother-in-law when he got back from Iraq. B-I-L drove it for the 4 years ...

Bought a pair of pro text gloves before the season. They are really good. Water resistant enough and warm enough. No complaints.
