Re: Holding kids back in 8th grade for sports?
The only thing that will stop this is when it stops working. Read "Outliers" by Gladwell. Quick read. The example he uses is ice hockey, but it is absolutely applicable to every other sport. At the little league (3-4th grade) try out, the kids that are a little older are naturally just a ...

Re: Urologist Recommendation Needed
Well... It's Time to get snipped. Decided that 2 is enough for us. Anyone have any recommendations on who to use in the Jackson Area? Flowood/Brandon Seymore and Bay kingfisher are not allowed to comment due to the below... http://www.ducksouth.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=96250&hilit=vase...

Re: Low testosterone
On the contrary, I believe Low T is a much more serious issue than you. I think that it explains in many ways why some men gain weight so much more rapidly once they hit their 40's. I think my father would have been a perfect candidate for replacement had it been around when he was alive. I remembe...

Re: GOP primaries may not be over yet...
Considering who frequents this board, if you had to choose aligning with either: Ted Cruz/Mike Lee or John McCain/Mitch McConnell which would you choose? Therein lies what is going on with the MS Senate race. Furthermore, if the big draw of voting for Cochran is having him head the Senate Appropria...

Re: GOP primaries may not be over yet...
The great oak tree had stood on a hill over the Hudson, in a lonely spot of the Taggart estate. Eddie Willers, aged seven, liked to come and look at that tree. It had stood there for hundreds of years, and he thought it would always stand there. Its roots clutched the hill like a fist with finger...

Re: Mississippi is ready for some change
And my deep seeded belief in term limits is going to play in todays vote for me. I see a lot of people saying this, and typically by term limits people mean 2 terms in a post. McDaniel has served 1.5 terms (6 years) in the MS Senate. If he wins and runs two terms in the US that'd be 18 years. I gue...
