Re: Question for those who remain

Life happened...but, as we get more settled things do cycle back around. Ducksouth/msducks was always very closed to newbies and out of staters...but there are only so many Mississippi boys who like to duck hunt and talk about it. This place was built around personalities, around camaraderie, and be...

Re: Prayers

Damn, still reeling over this one. I can still remember going to lunch with him while Lawdog and I were in law school, him building his own wooden layout blind, and him and Mandy coming to the crawfish boil at my house back then. Taking him to the old Ain't No Tellin duck camp with my Dad and my fat...

Re: Arizona Goulds

You suck!

I think they issue 75 now, if memory serves the first one they auctioned off went for $16k or so. New Mexico actually has 1 or 2 available now I think.

Re: holsters

I'm a big fan of crossbreed, use a supertuck daily. That belly band is a decent idea for gym shorts (I use a clip now), but for jeans the supertuck will be better. I have a N82 pro, but never use it. It doesn't conceal as well as the supertuck and shifts more during use. Also, get a high quality belt!

"Global warming" comes to mind...anything involving Benny, the thread where Benny came up with the idea of using multiple colors of grit to track ducks...and a thread about "gatoring" your pants....some of bigwater's exploits....I'll try to think of a few more, but those might no...

Re: Ask DS photo forum

says the lawyer and doctor! But seriously, I definitely plan on upgrading to one of those and if I could find a heck of a deal Id jump on it, but all things considered my price range is around 300$ for this year. I have a barely used canon rebel xt, and I think I have a kit lens for it that I...

Re: 20 Gauge Choke Recommendations - 870 Rem

Dunn's sporting goods also has the federal 7's A lot of folks like the Remington choke and it's cheap. Those guys on OG are gun/load/pattern fanatics. And I know one of those gun/load/pattern fanatics on OG that only knows what his gun does on paper because he's never killed a turkey with it. Gotta...

Re: Shotgun question....

It is easier to point a long stick accurately than a short one...same principle applies to shotguns to an extent. But, between the two barrel lengths you are talking about their is not much difference...don't go cheap and if you shoot a lot there are only two brands of auto I would own. Otherwise ma...

Re: MS Outdoors TV Pursuit channel

How many folks actually went to the public notice hearing about the scatters? Just wondering? I know it was short notice and all, and I wasn't able to make it...but, you have to take those opportunities to argue if you disagree.... MDWFP may read this until the cows come home, but a few posts on an...
