I have an old 1436 and it's been good. I have run a 15 Johnson and now have a 13 hp copperhead. It works well for my uses. If you are going to run an outboard then weldbuilt is a good boat. If you are thinking surface drive then go somewhere else.

Get a copperhead mud motor. I got one last year and mine performed well.
