Re: clover plots
Earlier in the year, I sprayed my clover field with post. Now, maypop vines are overtaking my clover in the field. Is there anything that you can spray to kill the maypop that won't kill the clover?

Re: Financial Question
It is actually a pretty complicated question that you asked - one that doesn't have a carte blanc answer. Before you pay any additional principal, I would recommend that anyone have approximately 6 months of living expenses in an emergency fund (liquid funds, not stocks or something hard to get your ...

Re: Ax men
I thought it was pretty neat too. Reminded me of the Ice Trucker series - it sounded like the same commentator.

It does seem ridiculous to pay so much in taxes. You're right on with the percentages and total amount if you are self-employed, but the numbers don't add up. By the way, is sales tax 7.5%? Does Olive Branch add an extra half of a percent? If you work for the man(not self-employed), it only costs ...

Finally, a good weekend hunt - 3 limits including 3 pintails(all drakes), 12 mallards(one may have been smiling though), two gadwalls, and one widgeon. We had ducks landing on us all morning. We didn't even shoot the first 20 minutes of legal shooting because of the fog.

I probably shouldn't even post this, but I do want people to know where I stand. Rob, I know exactly where you are coming from and I admire your stand and your ferver. MossyIsland, you may have said it best, but I'll try to tell my view without being hypocritical since I myself feel like I am the ...

I'm going to play devil's advocate. But first of all, I'll say that I'm glad I have a lease and don't have to worry about all of that. Now that I've said that, I'll ask a question. Are you saying that since you've hunted a spot on public land for "15 years", it is your spot and someone who is just ...
