Re: who knows the law?

Good ol' Mississippi law 51-1-4; keeps the poor working man in the hunt.

1 Bluewinged Teal
1 Ringneck
1 Gadwall
2 Pintails
1 Specklebelly

Two of the guys in my group had never been duck hunting before and of course they had a ...

It worked. I'm fired up. Now, if only I had some water in my holes..... I guess I will have to point my agression at the deer until I get some of that high quality H2O. Thanks for the pic.

Ol' Man stand looks like it makes a perfect retriever perch. I bet it does good on those crazy shaped willows and cypress trees.

Goosebruce, give me a call in 30 years and I will let you talk to old bold river hunter.

In all seriousness, that river is dangerous. Don't fear it; it can smell fear, just giver him some respect.

Congrats on the band.

The SEC really shut some mouths this year. My in-laws are big Gator fans; I think I am slowly coming around. Can't wait to see 'em cut Tebow loose to show us what he's got.

Congrats on the jewelry.

There's nothing like that feeling: getting over to the bird you just down, he's floating on the water on his belly. You pick him up by his neck and lift him up out of the water. Low and behold, glowing like a blinding light from above, is the band hanging on his leg ...

Slew, don't get discouraged.

Tell me where you are hunting at Mahanah and I will tell you where you need to go. I know all the hot spots at Mahannah. I just hate to see a fellow hunter and forum member get down and out.

I will even give you some coordinates if you would like...or I could take ...

That is a strong, smooth operating gun. Nearly indestructible. As far as patterning: get in the right spot, bring the birds to the decoys and point and click.

Haven't touched mine much since buying the M1; saving it for my boy to grow into.

Opinion on Remington 11-87

I've got a buddy who is considering buying one of these shotguns and he asked what I knew about them. I shoot a Benelli M1 and don't even know of anybody who has ever owned an 11-87.

Anybody have any experience with the pros and cons of these guns?
