I've just now started hearing birds gobbling on the ground in Yazoo. Watched a gobbler breed 2 hens last Friday right after flydown. Heard one gobbling pretty good in tree this morning. Got in close to him and he was gobbling on ground right after fly down. Heard a hen come to him. Nothing seems to ...

I'd typically say $1-3 per acre. With how hard its gotten to find good turkey places, I'd probably go up to $5 if it was real good, and laid out as an easy place to kill them on.
Or I've also looked at it as I'll pay $300 per bird I think I can kill on it.

Was lucky enough to kill another buck this week. He was chasing 2 does. The does came running by me, then I heard him grunting all the way in. Almost got it on video, but he stopped just before coming into the frame.

Well, I was going for the single season slam this year. Since I didn't kill in Florida, that quest was over fairly quickly. However, I was still chasing the lifelong slam.

No, but she was a turkey hunter and uses her mouth to call. She killed one a week or 2 before. We were impressed to day the least.

We had a heck of a trip. Showed up at 5:00 AM. Killed 7 the first day, and got the final bird next morning. Another state down, and got 7 of them on video. Thanks to my buddies for a fun trip.

I'm not the expert. There are other simpler ones out there, but I can do anything I can imagine with that one.

Most of y'alls birds are probably still as cold as mine. So maybe this will give you some entertainment until they start tearing it up.

I have the RedHead lounger and love it. I originally bought it for hunting in Texas, but now use it everyday. I'm small and it works great for me, but probably doesn't work as good for bigger guys.
