The best time to catch coons is right after a rain because that is when they stir the most. I do best around corn feeders and along streams and fence rows. If any of you guys are interested, we do custom chokes(duck,turkey,and buckshot). We first pattern your gun with your choke then pattern it with ours. If we can't improve your percentage then you don't owe us a dime.

As a gunsmith I feel your pain! We usually see between 15 and 20 of these a year. The first thing to do is give it a good oiling, if problem still persist give it a good cleaning more so around the cam (lots of carbon build up).
