Re: Lets Talk 20 gauges
Bought my wife a 20ga 3" Beretta. Don't remember the model, but it is upper end as far as quality goes. Very nice shooting gun. Super light, even with 3 - 3" shells. I think you/her will be happy with either the Benelli or the Beretta

Re: Residential shop/metal building
there's a guy out of Pelahatchie, Town and Country Builders that does metal buildings. I purchased a 40x40 pole barn kit from him a couple years and ago and built it myself... don't save a ton of money doing this but I enjoyed the project. I plan on pouring a slab this summer and walling it in. Any...

Re: Ask DS
I have a pair of Meopta 10x42HD. I was told that the Cabelas Euro HD is the same thing, just branded for Cabelas. I have looked thru all of them during daylight and the Meopta is right up there with the more expensive brands. Can't speak for the others at dusk, but the Meopta is very good at low lig...

Re: Outdoor Kitchen/Patio Cover
Not interested in a pergola. Wanting something that will provide more shade, and will also be useful when raining.

Re: Outdoor Kitchen/Patio Cover
Gable is going to look nicer. But you are going to have a hell of a lot of water coming out of that valley. Single slope will cost less. And water run off will probably be easier to manage. Agreed. Will probably end up doing a hipped roof on that end to match the house. Was thinking gable with open...

Outdoor Kitchen/Patio Cover
The wife and I are thinking of getting an outdoor kitchen/patio cover deal over our uncovered patio, roughly 20'x20'. It is on the west side of the house, with no shade, and virtually un-usable during the summer.....hotter than the surface of the sun back there. Problem is - house is L-shaped, eaves...

Re: Bald Eagles
We see them very regularly when hunting Southern Illinois. Seem to get more concentrated when the ducks show up. Old men in the area say that they don't bother hunting until the eagles start showing up.
