The Mottled Duck (Anas fulvigula) occurs in the southeast United States as well as the Gulf coast of parts of Mexico. It is superficially similar to a female Mallard but has a different speculum, bill color, and darker plumage overall.

Orange beach for sure. Do a google search for resorts. Get a condo for a week. Price might seem high but two families can normally be accomidated in each. and you get to stay right on the beach. and the fishing is definately better in orange beach than Panama city..

If you are talking thick being flooded brush and not trees get a mud motor. Innertubes work great but when you are 4 feet around walking through brush they can bee a real pain.

What FWS needs to do is rotate the refuge side every year. Also, would not hurt to have a draw hunt the last weekend of the season. Maybe even open the whole refuge one weekend! My .02
