What if you use a bow to turkey hunt. Can you not kill a hog with a bow? It is legal hunting equipment for turkey.

It is a shame that something that hot could turn into something so useless.

I guess since i go to ole miss, I'll just pick up my own acorns next time i am in the grove. Great idea though. I am sure that there are plenty of folks who would pay top dollar for grove seed. Do they come with a certificate of authenticity?

Glad to hear it. I know the feeling. My lab ended up missing this dec. when someone let him out of his pen. He was gone for 3 days and ended up 5 miles from home having taken up with a very attractive 40 year old woman. We still visit.

I took one who hunts but never hunted ducks before. He borrowed a gun from me and killed 2 mallards and a woodie his first trip. Next thing you know he's got decoys, a new shotgun and all kinds of stuff. Now if he'll just go and find a place to hunt and remember the one who got him started.

It's hard to find more truth than that.

I also shoot a nova. I use th IC for decoying ducks and the mod for pass shooting, so i bring both. I use 3in. # 2 from winchester and federal.

Same here. I didn't always kill a limit but almost always came out with 2 or 3. Killed more mallards this year than in the last 3 years combined. Lots of shovelers, a few widgeons and teal. Still no pintails or bands . But i will be at them again next year. -Tom
