Re: Choke for H and R
What brand of choke do you use and what shell and size shot? Mine can shoot the 3 1/2" shells but I was thinking about just going with a 3" shell, maybe a hevi shot or winchester elite hi-density shot.

Choke for H and R
I just purchased a H and R single shot shotgun. What type of choke fits a H and R pardner single shot shotgun? It is an 1980 something model because it has the original bottomland camo patern. It already has a H and R choke but I was looking at getting an after market choke. I have been reading that...

CVA or H and R
My dad is looking at gettting a 35 wheelen, 45-70, or .444. He asked me to take a look into these so he can shoot during the primative weapon season and possibly use them all season long. I was thinking the H and R was pretty much the only game in town but when I got to the gun shop, they only had t...

Re: Youth Shotgun Question?????????
I am looking at getting my 6 year old a 20 gage shotgun for this upcoming dove and duck season. He is really tall for 6, standing at 4' 6" and weighing about 60 lbs. Wow, that is tall!!! He is almost 5" taller than my 8 year old who is 49-50" and slightly taller than about half the o...

Re: Video Camera Question??????
Tunica, I agree with you on the everyday video camera for the family. I have a Sony that has the Hi 8 tapes and it does just fine for the everyday events. I was just wondering why these were so high $$$$$. I was also looking at videoing some of my sons duck, turkey and deer hunts, just for fun and n...

Video Camera Question??????
Does anyone have a video camera that is designed to film hunts rather than the everyday consumer events. The reason I am asking is that I saw an ad for hunting type of video cameras and the ad was for a Campbell cameras. If you look on their site, they have cameras made for filming hunts but they ha...

Re: Well Guys....
Hey Bro, I tried calling you the other day but didn't get an answer but I left a message. Sorry I couldn't come by and see you before Christmas but we had so much going on and family from out of town. I was planning on coming down to hunt this weekend but I am afraid everything is going to be locked...

Re: Need a Tire Recomendation
Goodyear AT's. They are aggressive enough to get you thru the mud but good enough on the road too. They have the kevlar in them. They are pricey but they lasted me 75k miles on my z71.

Breathable Waders?
I am looking at getting some of the breathable or early season waders this year. I have a pair of 5mm Lacrosse that I have had for 5 years and they are great but the places I hunt, I tend to walk alot and since it hasn't gotten cold here in years, I burn up in those 5mm. I have heard good things abo...

Who has killed a banded duck other than a mallard???
I hear most people that kill banded ducks are mostly mallards but I know they band other ducks but just don't hear alot of people killing banded gadwalls, shovlers, teal, etc. but I know they band all kinds. Just taking a pole of what ducks other than mallards that you have killed that were banded.

Re: Mack's Big Ditch Wader??????
Mine worked great for two years of use, but not tough use. Easy hunting conditions. This year they fell apart under light use. The entire seam in the crotch has begun to leak. I tried repeatedly to contact Mack's and never received a call back. That will be the last Mack's labled product that I pur...

Mack's Big Ditch Wader??????
Anyone tried Mack's Big Ditch Wader. I was thinking about getting a lighter wader than my Lacrosse 5mm waders for those warmer days or the long walks. Looks like these have some good features but don't know how well they hold up.
