corn and doves

I'm thinking about letting them eat corn for awhile and start cutting sunflowers one week before the opener and then a few days before the opener. What does everybody think about the impact the corn will hav...

From a simple mind comes a simple answer. What is Righteous: Free from sin. Alive not dead. Light not dark. Free not slave. Pure. Holy. God. Jesus. Faith. Hope. Love. Bible. A lot of people in church. Good actions for right reasons (abe killing issac). What's not righteous: Mankind. Satan. Immoral b...

My hunting land is there, I work in DC and Atlanta. I was just managing like benny taught me, and the johnosn grass just took over this year. Granted there is some barnyard grasses and sedges, but the johnson grass explosion sort of caught me by surprise. I too have killed doves in johnson grass man...

Duck Hole Question
Got a one acre duck hole in the woods. I used 24D on it twice this summer and now I have a solid johnson grass duck hole about waist to shoulder high.
Question - Will ducks use johnson grass or should I get rid of it?

Like I said, this is my opinion. Mallards don't eat large red oak acorns all that much, but they do eat them cause I've killed them with large red oak acorns lined up down their esophagus. One other thing to remember IMHO that if it is warm, mallards actually prefer weed seeds or technically moist s...

ducks need food - plain and simple - you have food you'll have ducks - I think they can smell it or see it or something - you can kill them every day if there is a lot of food for them. Every so many years like one in ten in a really dry year, they will need a drink and a water hole devoid of food w...

I have about 5 acres and and I bought 700 pounds of fertilizer. I think it is urea which is about 1/2 (38%) nitrogen. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Years back I did research on what they did for ag crops of sunflowers in Canada and they put out 100 pounds of nitrogen per acre for maximum yield. ...
