I have had the red heads, comfortable yes waterproof no. After the first season they leaked. I can also say the same about the rockys. I love the way they wear ,but after a year I get my feet wet from dew on the grass. I not so sure that gore-tex is the culprit. I don't own anything that has gore-te...

Well got my hat in and it's a dandy. I like this one better than my old one. Anyone that has never used one of these should give one a try.

Think I have one on the way. Found it on bass pros web site. I bought one like Mack's has last year and it was to hot for me. The face mask was kinda short too. The one I ordered is made from whitewater looks good but won't know till I put my hands on it.
