Re: Ask DS: ski trip
There are several places here in Colorado. Still not a lot of snow on the mountains yet, but it will come. Ski Cooper outside of Leadville is a good place for beginners, and Wolf Creek around Pagosa Springs is good also. And the closer you get to Vail, the more expensive things become.

Re: Question about water at camp
Our camp is pretty primitive. For water we have an 800 gal stainless tank from an old dairy put up on a 6' stand. Our lights, stove, and fridge are all propane, and as for the toilet, we just have an old fashioned "out house". We have to go back to the house or the closest camp members hom...

Re: Colorado Merriams
Where were you staying in Garfield County. I used to live in along the Colorado River in Eagle county. I am actually headed to Rifle to work for the summer. I have long thought about getting after the Merriams out there, just wasn't sure how hard they are to hunt compared to the easterns here.

Re: Good BBQ around the Memphis Area
Next time you are in the mood for BBQ you can check out a new place that just opened in Southaven. 10 Bones BBQ is a restaurant that opened up back in the fall. These guys have been a competition cooking team for years and decided to open a restaurant. Their food is good as well as their prices.

Re: New diesel???
I have owned two diesels. I have had a 7.3 powerstroke and I currently have the 5.9 cummins. Both trucks were strong as an ox and both got relatively good mileage. The best I got out of my ford was 19.5 and it was 4x4 auto. I currently average about 20 out of my 4x4 manual dodge and it only has 75k ...

Re: F150-Trailer Lights
Check the fuse box. I had an '00 F250 that had the same problem. I ended up having a short on my pigtail and it kept blowing the fuse just for the running lights. All of the other lights, including the brakes, worked except for the running lights, so i tracked it down to the fuse.

It seems like my winterpeas got hurt by the frost. Is this possible. I had a pretty good stand and they were about a foot or so tall but now it looks as if the frost has killed them. Does anyone know why this might have happened? I thought the peas were cold tolerant?!?!
