Re: Poison Ivy/Oak Remedies
I've found that applying Germ X or any other hand sanitizer to the rash does a good job drying it out. It also works really well as a preventative if you apply within 30-45 minutes of coming in contact with it.

Game Camera Battery Hookup
How do you hook up a game camera to a larger battery (lawnmower, car, etc.) without ruining the camera and without opening the insides up to moisture? If you have how-to pics of this that would be really great. I'm a little slow when it comes to these things.

Re: Things found in the woods....
Found an old outhouse last week. Looks like there was a cabin several yards from it. Nothing left but bricks. A couple of days later found an old bench cemented in the ground right in the middle of the woods. Figure there must've been a old hiking trail there at one time.

Re: corp land regs
Someone told me you can't duckhunt landlocked water, even if it is on corps land. Is that true? Supposedly you have to be able to access it from the river, but I can't find it anywhere in the regulations.

Very few birds killed there this year. Don't count on that limit of woodies. Several holes have very little water. Some walks are much worse than others.

Re: Shotguns?
The main thing is to shoulder a lot of different guns and pick the one that fits you and has the balance you like. Fit and balance kill birds, not brands. I shot an Ithaca Featherlite for 20+ years and just recently switched to a Franchi I-12. Loving the Franchi.

Landowners are usually awarded triple the stumpage prices for cases like this. Make sure you have a good survey and documentation, you need a good lawyer and reputable registered forester with experience in cases like this.
