Does anyone try to seal new deekes to protect the paint and improve their longevity? Just bought some GHG and thinking about doing something like that...I had heard someone tell me to seal them with acrlyic or something before gettin em wet. Thanks for advice.

I hoping/thinkin it will. Most of the mid west by week's end will have been frozen over for a week or more. might freeze up some of the food! Its like 4 degrees in St. Louis right now!

I don't hunt out of a pirogue but do hunt out of a little kayak...I know most know this, but do be aware of the consequences of falling in a pirogue or any boat. Before I ever started duck hunting i got thrown in a pool waders on, its no fun tryin to get out!!!
