Re: Waders 3.5mm or 5mm?
I have both; 3.5 in the Cabelas and 5 mm in the Mad Dog. Wear the 3.5mm in the early season and the 5's on those super cold mornings.

Re: To really start duck huntin?
What do I need? Other than: boat, gun. and what kinda duck call, and decoys? Any tips will be appriceated. I need whatever help I can get, to be ready for next season! Thanks.
Starting out, unless you have an unlimited amount of cash to spend, I would go with a good pump like a Benilli Super Nova ...

Re: "The Future"
When I got the call from Up2Early to join him on a hunt this morning, I knew I was in for a treat. However, when he told me that his two boys, ages 6 and 10, were coming, I got really excited. There is just something about taking kids to the woods and seeing the look on their face when mallards are ...

Re: Migration Question
I have to say this has been one of the strangest seasons I can ever remember and I've been hunting ducks for 25 years. The early reports said the duck numbers were up tremendously and for the first time there was a large amount of birds that nested south of the Canadian border. The only theory that ...
