I did not get furloughed, as my position was determined to be "excepted". Truthfully, I am no better off than those who were furloughed. I am still working, but I will not get paid until we get a Continuing Resolution signed into law.

You can unhook the cables from the controller and see if the controller will move back and forth normally. If it does fine, at least you know that the controller is not the problem.
