Re: Alaska

Forrest I would certainly do that if I could. That darn place just has so much cool stuff to do it's unbelievable. I had a tendency to find myself in some places pretty far off the beaten path. Re: Alaska

You'll enjoy the train ride for sure, as far as Alaskan communities go Fairbanks isn't the top of the list but still nice place, the train is going to carry you right by Denali Nat Park, but from sounds of it you won't get to spend any time there. There really is no BAD Alaskan vacation, little some...

Re: Alaska

Re: North Georgia trip this weekend questions

All of those are great suggestions, from Georgia and those were some of my old haunts, Tallulah River might be a bit far, very northeast corner of GA. Did Dahlonega get mentioned? Also consider passing thru Guntersville, Al if you have time and hand feed the deer in the stae park, if you do this pos...

Re: Why Not a September Archery season

Mississippi regs have always confused me. I lived in Georgia the first 20 yrs of my life, bow season (no crossbows unless had impairment) opened Sep 15, then Oct 15 prim weapons (none of this center fire stuff, prim my butt stuff) then gun Nov 15. Season closed for 2 wks prior to Xmas and opened Dec...

Go to lowes and get (crap don't know what it's called) it is a sheet of wire mesh, has a diamond pattern, you see people weld on metal steps to prevent slipping, anyway fabricate you a radiator guard, get small enough mesh pattern to ...
