Re: Letter to Editor in Vburg Post
You wouldn't believe how many deer have been killed since Jan 1, on the edge of the water Big deer! My question is why would the state wait to close deer season after the crest of the river, any idiot should have known to close the season before the crest! Example, south of big black closure. I mean ...

Re: Don't manipulate your grain
To me it's the Fact that these fines for wildlife offense's have gotten out of control! It's amazing that people still hunt with all the grey area that are in the laws. There is no way that you can convince me that a $30,000 fine fits the crime of running over corn stalks that proab didn't have 20 ...

Re: Don't manipulate your grain
Saw a hunt on TV last night, the hardcore guys were hunting in the delta and it sure looked like crop manipulation to me!! Bet they aren't paying 30,000 fine.
Does this law affect other crops such as Milo, beans, millet?

Re: Don't manipulate your grain
I heard a pistol was pulled out during the bust and stuck in face of the " outlaws"! Again another example of the money making schemes from our MDWFP. You can throw 10,000 lbs of corn out for deer, but run over a corn stalk that has less than a lb of corn on it and it's gonna cost you $30,000!! Give ...

Started showing up in pretty good numbers last week, I am with yall on the shorter daylight migration theory. Not many mallards but lots of teal, woodducks and gadwall on us right now.

Re: MDWFP About To Allow Deer Hunting Over Feeders
Absolutely against this, this is going to be the downfall of deer hunting in the state. Why in the world would you need to bait deer in Mississippi to kill one?? They are everywhere! The commission ought to be drug out in the street and beaten with a rubber hose!! The days of actually going out and ...

Re: High River and Impact on Season?
I will have to disagree with you when you say the river does not affect deer. I see it every year. It affects their browse, their summer feeding habits, horn growth, etc. I think the river is one of the main impactors on deer movement and feeding habits, when it's gets this high. As far as the ducks ...

High River and Impact on Season?
Who else is going to have there deer/duck season affected by this high river year. I know it has killed our crop this year and there is no chance to replant duckholes since River will have a our holes flooded till end of August. Lots of deer misplaced out of there core area while horns are growing ...
