How much do you need?

It will cost you around 2600 to re-sod it if you pay someone or around 1500 if you lay it yourself. Do you have trees in your back yard?

You may can just sand it or put in a few catch basins or french drains.

Do you live in a neighborhood?

No need in the aerator if you are going with burmuda grass and have a way to water it in. You also don't have to to wait until late spring or summer to do it, you can do it now if you are ready. As far as the existing grass and weeds just kill everything and wait a week or so then lay the new sod on ...
