Re: Stupid question about bullets and calibers?
Go to Barnesblets.com. On top right, click lines and at bottom click load data. You can get their load data for their bullets. For 308, all of their 130 grain loads start close to 3,000 fps and go up

Re: Stupid question about bullets and calibers?
Like stated before, speed kills. This is especially true cor. Arnes bullets. You should shoot light for caliber bullets. I reload my own and want them going over 3,000 fps. The faster the better. For 308, you want a 110 grain or 130 grain

That’s what I heard and am fearful of. We(me and two buddies from work) are making a trip over there late January. Hopefully we can enjoy it. Where I used to hunt(must have been around 2002ish) I never saw another hunter

Public Land Question
I was a member here years ago. Anyway, since Katrina I moved away from Mississippi and haven’t duck hunted in years. I have a couple general questions about a specific WMA and don’t know who I can ask. I called the state number for it but no return call.
Questions I have are water and pressure ...

Good Duck Recipes
Had some mallard breasts given to me yesterday. It has been a few years since I have duck hunted much less cooked any. Looking for some good recipes (besides the usual duck poppers with cream cheese and pepper). Thanks in advance!
