Re: ANY DUCKS AT EAGLE LAKE?

For the answer to your question.... Yes eagle lake has tons of ducks, but can only be hunted by special permit. The season is open from Feb 1- Nov 1. To obtain a permit, all you need to do is go ahead and hunt, killl all the ducks you can, then take your ducks to the local game warden and he will ...

Re: Rio Steel?

I shot some last year and i noticed that some of the hulls had the top blown off them. I dont know if they werent opening right or what. I also shot them in two other guns and had the same thing happen. It would blow about 1/2 inch off the ends around where it was crimped. The whole end wouldnt be ...

Re: He/She It, or What?

I killed a duck that looks identical to this one several years ago. I have always figure it was a wigeon - mallard cross. It has both the same characteristics of a hen and drake mallard but is alot smaller than the typical mallard. the size of the duck is the same size as a wigeon. Either way it ...

Re: will this b the big migration this weekend

IMHO... theres was plenty of birds this year but with record rainfall, there was too many un-hunted places for them to be. Yeah it sux to drive 2 hours or more to hunt and not kill but maybe 1 or 2 or not even fire a shot, but it beats sittin in a deer stand by yourself for 3 or 4 hours and not even ...

Re: Property Pictures

Bad thing about takin night pictures is that at night everybody has deer movin around on their land. If you want to find out where they are layin up, you need to figure out how to get those type of pics during the day when they arent moving much and ole big boy is layin up till dark30 just 75 yards ...

Re: Louisiana Duck Trip

If you were born in La. and live in another state now, you can get a native non resident license. (cheap) Go to La. department of wildlife web site and you can search for it and it will tell you what you need to get the license.
