Re: Bay Area HRC closes on HuntSecretary.com this Friday

You will have two more finished spots available. I think I already entered, but my truck is still in the shop and a couple more of my dogs got upset tummies. Cane is just now getting solid after West MS. I don't know quite what it is, but not exposing anyone else's dogs to it. As for the truck, it ...

He's a two-sided heeling dog (read: both sides were broken) and no. I seriously thought about having silver (part silver lab??? LOL) with a mallards engraved ...

Training Trauma Drama

Interesting photos of work having to be done to fix a dog's teeth after being broken during training before I got him. Too many photos to upload here, so put them on webshots. I am hoping that this will help fix some of the issues we have had. Heaven knows how that dog still had the heart ...

Re: East AR Reminder

I have one finished dog out of commission (hopefully not for the season) and only got in one day with the other so I'm not going to make it. Y'all have a great time and me and the family will see you guys somewhere else.

They have pulled some products off of the shelf but the performance is still there, so I'm thinking it is fine.

Good thing you clarified that with "plastic"... Otherwise there might be a few more volunteers than you wanted. This place has the market cornered on them. ha ha! hahahahahaha! 8)

Re: Training problems and solutions-what worked for you?

I think a prime example of this is proper balance of pressure with the dogs temperament. Sometimes this takes time and experimentation to figure out what works best for your dog. Sometimes a dog plays you, and needs bigger and less corrections, and sometimes the sensitive ones need lower and more ...
