23HP Backwater SWOMP Longtail Mud Motor SOLD

Pictures tell more than I can describe. Motor pushes my 1542 F&F @ 20 mph, 16' hull could probably get a little more. I'm upgrading. No hour meter, but I bought the motor in 2015 (it's a 2012 model) and have put less than 20 hours on it. Runs great, prop is in good shape. Also comes with a spare...

Re: Andy Cannizaro

A little more on the story has come out, and it seems his wife was likely caught off-guard by the whole thing; it wasn't something that happened in the past and was over. Hopefully it's something he can work to patch up. From Cohen's side of things, I've been nothing but impressed. He took care of t...

Re: Andy Cannizaro

I'm a bulldog fan and didn't hold back on Hugh, I'll say this now, Andy is a moron. You were handed the keys to baseball powerhouse, a brand new $60mil facility and stadium, and you dip your pen in the company ink, ink that many people say was known for this kind of activity. Not only that, his wif...

Re: Grass for brushing layouts

Not being hidden properly is the single biggest reason I see when guys are having trouble finishing birds. For fields, get an electric hedge trimmer. My rule of thumb is cut twice as much grass and brush twice as often. No such thing as overkill when grassing blinds. Thick tall grass on the road si...

Re: Time to Rate the 2017-18 Season

And none of that hogwash about "any time in the field with good friends and fellowship makes it all worthwhile, so I give a it a 10."

Grass for brushing layouts

I'm new to the whole layout blind hunting game. But I quickly realized that brushing the blind 100% with native material in the area I'm hunting the morning of is a time-consuming process. Next year I'll be looking to grass it prior to the hunt, and just fill in on top with some native stuff to blen...

Re: Browning camo citori

Wait, so there is a process to remove the Dura Touch? I'm assuming its just black plastic under there? I would love to do that to a dura touch gun I have. Actually, the duratouch is just a rubberized-grippy coating on top. When (not if) it starts to peel, the camo still shows but it takes on a yell...

Re: Browning camo citori

If there's a gun you want that is only offered with Duratouch, get the gun, carry it straight to Adam Milner at Precision Camo in Grenada, and pay him to remove the Duratouch and get it re-dipped. Whatever the cost, Duratouch is crap. It turns something that should be able to be handed down to your ...

Re: Citori serial number ID

I passed on the gun. Had a lot of custom work, ported barrels, etc that was going to make it tough to move IMO.

Citori serial number ID

Guy is selling a Citori. Serial number is 17759. Can anybody figure out what model this is? Everything I've looked up says there should be more characters to ID it.

Re: Where to buy a sheet of aluminum

Smoke68 ck your PM Thanks bigdecoy. I'll check around. I did some searching over at MudMotorTalk, and saw where somebody used 1/2" plywood for a floor. Fiberglassed the underside, and non-slip painted the other side. 1/2" would be pretty comparable on weight to aluminmum and way cheaper. ...

Where to buy a sheet of aluminum

I'm in Starkville. Looking to get a 0.125 thickness sheet of aluminum to cut out a floor for my 1542 F&F. Where might somebody go to get this?

Re: For the love of everything good and holy

We handle ourselves and keep the team going. Ups and downs, hardships and celebrations ensue and we all pull together and make it. Not sure I have a completely accurate perspective on where things were at just before Mossy took over, and add to that I'm a relative noob considering I've only been ar...
