Well I'll try and divert this little pixxing match to a more pleasent topic .
Has anyone been seeing any moving into the neighborhood? I live down by the coast and we just don't get them down here. I definately wouldn't mind getting into a flock of them, Bow season down here has really been ...

Re: The Goose
How old are you now? It sounds to me like this story is running low on milege . Maybe you and your Grand Pappy need to go out and get some new stories .
Just pulling your leg young man . Thats a cool story.... But that only lasts for a little while. You and your loved ones should live your life to ...

Re: Gunsmith question for Rem 870 ????
T-Bone,
If you could be a little more descriptive as to your malfunction maybe we could diagnose it. I worked on thousands of 870's over the years for Uncle Sam. I've seen some weird stuff happen with that gun!
Is the hammer releasing? Does the Action Bar Release reset? Just off the cuff ...

Re: Big Trouble For Hunters from Obama Nominee
I posted the news article on the MWFP forum this morning. It was taken off in less than three hours!
Maybe it was my comment about " the Administration maybe trying to shove something unpleasent in the back door". What do y'all think

Re: snow goose guides
FELMAC,
I'd just like to add one more thing. After we got home and cleaned the geese the boys sat down with the Miss's and told here the story. I'm being dead honest, I have never seen those kids that animated or enthusiastic over anything in their lives! They didn't get that excited when I took ...

Re: Snows
I've booked a hunt this weekend with Delta Ducks. I have family driving down from N.E. TN and this will be their first experience goose hunting. I respect my elders/family and admire them. These are people that have helped me since I could walk. I'm sure you folks can understand the desire for this ...

Re: Snipe???
If this is about Wilson's Snipe, I am a novice. If your question is about Woodcock I've killed a few dozen.
To the best of my knowledge hunting woodcock with lead shot is legal in Ole Miss. It is my understanding that hunting any migratory waterfowl, rails, snipes, etc. you must use non toxic ...

Re: Nanih Waiya drained. DW and DU's compared responses:
Here's a suggestion. Shoot the beavers. The siltation will happen, but by thinning out those industrious rodents some of the problem will be helped.
I am not condoning "Wanton Waste" of the critters, but you can utilise them. I have eaten a few over the years and to be honest, they a'int bad table ...

Re: Nanih Waiya drained. DW and DU's compared responses:
As for my comment about the place turning into a "mosquitoe farm". The reason behind the establishment of the area is clear. Hardwood restoration. That's why its there, the Army Corps own it, and to be frank they can dictate what ultimately happens with it. The beaver "problem" and the siltation are ...

Re: Nanih Waiya drained. DW and DU's compared responses:
I am a little behind the eight ball on this response, but here it is. I have hunted Nanah Waiya WMA ever since I moved here in 2001. I have spent alot of ours talking to Larry and Mr. M about the place, and to be honest so far its the best deer and rabbit hunting I've seen yet. They put the time and ...

Delta Ducks Guided Hunts.
Folks I have friends coming in after their deer season. We try to get together as time allows to re-live old times. One idea that was tossed around was a guided goose hunt. My question is; have any of you used Delta Ducks as a guide service before, and how did they work out for you?
