We hunt about 30 miles north of bosque del apache. And it was a "GOOSE"of the Canadian persuasion

Why is it, that everytime I go into Sportsmans, I just absolutely have to buy more duck hunting sh-t, even though the season is almost over. I just went to get shells and whalla, I bought one of those plastic flying decoys on a spring. Ok now I have to make room in the shed for more duck hunting ...

Saturdays bag Lajoya wildlife management area

ok try these, They fllod an area next to the rio grande for the wintering ducks and of course us hunters.

Well it wasn't a perfect day, ducks started slow and stayed slow. Not many hunters though.

We got: 5 green heads
3 ring bills----Yuck
1 hooded merganser hen
1 spoonie hen
1 "mexican like" duck.... we think. Might be an
imature green head
1 green wing drake

Drawback 3 guns, told ya it was ...

Hunted on the Rio Grande In new Mexico on Saturday, Was a good day all in all ,

got:

2 widgeons
2 greenwing teal
1 spoonie
4 mallards
and 1 pin we didnt shoot, the ranger gave it to us, he confiscated it from another hunter, we cant shoot pins or cans until December 18th.

IS IT JUST US OR HAVE THE DUCKS GOTTEN WISE TO ROBO DUCKS. SATURDAY SEVERAL FLOCKS FLARED WHEN IT GOT LIGHTER AND THEY SOULD SEE BETTER.

has anyone found worms in the breast meat of ducks???? they are mini maggots and running with the grain.
