Re: Pascagoula River
I also hunt and scout well up the river, toward george county and there is little vegetation up there either. Salt water has not been up there. About 6 years ago was the last time I saw a large amount of duck weed was in the marsh. Quite depressing, knowing nother will ever be done and that this res...

Re: Pascagoula River
We are pulling too much water out of the river for one thing. The more dredging we do the more intrusion we will have. People have single handedly done this, not a freaking h urricane. Hurricanes have been happening alot longer than Georges, just a note.

Re: Pascagoula River
Unfortunately its no longer fresh water. I think it will be worse with this new beach and if they do the salt dome, everything is over.

Re: Pascagoula River
Thats fine and dandy with the wood duck boxes, but there are plenty of trees in the woods. How about spending some of that money to bring back the marsh?

Re: Pascagoula River
DU does nothing for this gulf coast and this is why I refuse to support them any more. My grandfather was Ellwood Poitevin of Poitevin Brothers(Singing River), decoys and for Pascagoula duck hunting to be nothing more than a memory is sad. This river system used to be a great resource and the right ...

Re: Pascagoula River
DU will not do anything and if they keep dredging the river and with making this beach, it will only get worse. There are not even very many Wood Ducks left in the river. Not like it used to be.

Pascagoula River
Ran the Pascagoula Marsh this past weekend and saw literally no ducks. There is little to no vegetation in the marsh even above I10. I know that salt water intrusion has been the major problem, but way north of the interstate where it is still fresh there is no vegetation. Not too long ago, less tha...

Re: Achilles Tendon
Put a heel lift in your shoe, anti inflammatory, and stretching and ice when sore or inflamed. The heel lift will help the most. It takes the tension off of the tendon. You are going to waste alot of money going to an ortho.

Re: Coast Rats
There is no fence in the gulf. I have seen sails off the coast of horn island. Rarely do I not see sperm whales when I go billfishing. There are some amazing things you will see everytime you go out in that gulf. That is the greatest things about it.
