When I passed by the other night the lights were on and there was a sign said opening soon. Do they have new owners? Anyone know when they are opening?

Re: Anyone doing any good

My season started off pretty good but over the last 3 weeks I’ve killed very few ducks. Definitely don’t get the pushes that we need late in the season anymore.

Re: Milwaukee Tool - Greenwood, MS

Milwaukee makes some very nice tools. I have the drill small and big impact and the light on the stand. The small battery is nice for small jobs but make sure you get one of their big batteries for a blower or weed eater.

Re: Anyone seeing ducks?

I am not looking for GPS coordinates of your honey hole. I don't want to know which WMA you are on. What I would like to know is a general area ie N Delta, Tunica, Crowder area if you are seeing any birds. I hunt SE AR and am seeing very, very few. I saw one field yesterday they were using well bef...

Re: Best price on Hevi-shot or Hevi-metal

I haven’t seen any good deals on them in 2 years. Lowest I have seen this year is $214 I think.

Re: Who's out running dogs?

Mine ran a few master tests. Too hot now I’m planning on letting her run a couple more before the season starts. She got 2 passes this spring.

Fine gun. What I grew up shooting. Not for sale tho. Not sure what year but I would guess 86. Didn’t think they could get $1000 for one.

Re: AR Opener

We hunt in SE Arkansas also. We had a very good weekend. We saw a lot of ducks Saturday morning but has been less and less each day. We always have lots of geese. We didn't limit but had kids in blind with us. If we would have had more water Saturday we would have probably limited out. Most I talked...

Re: Heating a camper

Two of the small heaters will work fine till it gets rel cold. If you could run three you wouldn't need anything else but I'm thinking that will throw a breaker unless you have 50 amp service.

Re: Youth rifle ?

I agree with cwink. I started off with 243 for my kids because they were so young. When they got to about 8-9 I moved them up to 7mm08. I have killed many with a 243 still have and use my first rifle. But shot placement and bullet selection are key with smaller calibers.
