I shoot the Mission Venture which is a step up from the Craze. If he's 14, he could handle a Venture. For the $, it's a good rig.

I am back into bow hunting after an 18 year hiatus. I bought a Mission Venture the other day. In about an hour of shooting, I was flinging arrows 30 yards. Just like old times, but arrows fly much faster these days!

Had a fight break out if front of me and the wife. I never saw a punch throne, but it must have been one cause the young guy (25 yo or so) had a bloody nose. He and an older man (50ish) were taken out by the Hinds SO. The way each was handling themselves I would bet the young guy started something ...

It has been a frustrating year. Lots of gobbling on our place, but the birds have refused to come to the call. However, this bird seemed to be on a string. He and another gobbler hammered on the roost at 6:15. I cut to them and they gobbled again. They flew down and gobbled again. I yelped two times...

Just a thought, I would get some video footage while he is on the chain showing the dogs temperment. Invariably, he will get loose and bite someone. Video may come in handy when lawyers and judges get involved.

I have been in Wyoming a couple of times lately. Lots of wildlife and archeological sights. Cody is interesting, so is Thermopolis with its 180degree springs.
