Being able to find a good pair of waders is an important thing for any duck hunter. And unfortunately it can sometimes be more of a daunting task to figure out the best pair with so many options being available. Here at Ducksouth, we want to make the process a lot easier for you. So here is the official Ducksouth seal of approval, top seven list of best waders on the market. First off, we’ll start with neoprene waders:

Drake Equador 2.O Waders are first off on that list. Every external seam is covered with a liquid seam weld and every internal seam is covered with extra-wide waterproof seam-seal tape. Not only do they cover more seams than the average pair of waders, they also use seam gluing AND stitching to make sure they get the best protection for you. Besides being efficiently made, they’ve added some more comfort features like higher sides, two front pockets, and Hydro-Flex knee pads. It’s 3.5 neoprene, 800 gram Thinsulate in the boots, and is available in both regular and Stout models. We recommend the LST or MST models for duck hunting in the winter months. You may burn up in them during teal season, but check out our breathable waders below for teal hunting waders.

This pair has 1000G Thinsulate inside of the boots as well as 5mm neoprene and fleece lined up top. They also have an anklet fit around the boots as well as a waist belt to make sure you can personally secure your waders however you’d like.
